Horse Ownership

Moruya and surrounding areas support a strong group of local trainers with up to 100 horses being in training at any one time.  Moruya horses are very competitive within the region and regularly compete at Sydney race meetings.

Horse ownership or leasing is great fun and can be much cheaper than one may expect, especially on a shared basis.  A 10% lease in a racehorse can cost as little as $200 per month.  Contact any of the trainers below to discuss racing a horse.
