Public Allowed to Attend Races

By July 2, 2020Uncategorized

From Monday 13 July the public will be allowed to attend the Moruya races. The crowd will be limited to 500 on a first in basis.  A crowd of 500 would not be expected on this date. Members and owners will not have access to the Members Area until further notice as it is being used by jockeys to ensure that group have sufficient social distancing space.  Members and owners will only have access to the public areas.  Social distancing and COVID Safe requirements determine that patrons must be seated when consuming alcohol.  The Club will provide as much seating as available however patrons should consider bringing their own seat or picnic rug.  The public bar and kiosk will be in operation.  Patrons can bring their own food but not alcohol.  The TAB and Bookmakers will be operating.  Some areas will be out of bounds to reduce the risk of patrons coming into contact with jockeys and officials and to ensure social distancing is being observed.  IT WILL BE A DIFFERENT DAY AT THE RACES BUT STILL A GOOD DAY OUT AND THE RACING WILL BE AS EXCITING AS ALWAYS.
